Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I've never had a massage, what happens in my first treatment?

You will be brought into comfortable safe surroundings, offered a glass of water and you will be asked to complete a health history form. I will discuss with you your general health and identify any conditions or problems you may have. If you are receiving shiatsu massage you will be asked to change in loose clothing to receive your treatment. For remedial massage you will be asked to remove some of your clothing as oils are used. Gentle and firm pressures will be used during your treatment.

How often do I need to have a massage?

Once I have treated you, I will assess and recommend the appropriate treatment plan for you. Depending on your condition, a series of treatments may be recommended. We all get our cars serviced on a regular basis, and it is a good idea to maintain your body and health at least once a month. My experience is that those clients who come for regular follow up treatments experience the best health and energy results.
